While Pope Francis wants to go to Egypt to discuss peace with Islamic leaders there, the city of Rome where he lives most of the time, is presently under threat by Muslims who want to cite violence. According to the news, when Muslims become violent, these Islamic radicals will even cut off heads for the cause of Allah. Somewhere along Pope Francis's line of reasoning there seems to be a flaw.
 
Worse yet, this article mentions that Muslims are the second largest religion in Italy. They are rioting because they believe they are being discriminated against. Is it possible that Rome may see more violence coming? While the Pope plans to have peace talks with Islam in Egypt, it may be worth his while if he concentrated on Rome first.

FURIOUS Muslims prayed outside Rome’s Colosseum to protest the closure of mosques in the capital city. Authorities in Rome recently closed down five makeshift mosques in the city in what Muslims see as a crackdown on their religion. Thousands attended Friday prayers this week outside the iconic Colosseum in Rome to demonstrate against the closures. The small mosques had been shut down by the authorities on fears that youngsters were becoming radicalized.
 
Many Muslims in the country believe local authorities are reacting to fear caused by recent terror attacks in Europe. Italy does not recognise Islam as an official religion. On top of this, many Muslims from North Africa and South Asia feel discriminated against on the grounds of both race and religion.
