There is a lot of work to be done in the Philippines, the work seems impossible at times!! How can one person or even one organization do all this work? God has called me to the Philippines. To me it does not matter how big is the task ahead of me, I just need to be faithful to what God has called me to do. Weather one soul is won for Christ or one Thousand souls are won for Christ it does not matter to me, I must be faithful to what God has called me to do, If the Holy spirt working through me can rescue just one soul from an eternity in HELL, it will be worth it!! We do not measure how many people we can put in a church Building but we measure success by how many people, by the power of the Holy Spirit, repent and make a decision to follow Christ. So far in The Philippines this is what UTT has started: 1. Two Childrens feeding ministries one in Antipolo, one in Malanday. These are children who live one the streets. The children are go to sunday school, get a bath, and a hot meal, 2. UTT currently supports 5 naitive Missionary Pastors. 3. UTT has a prison Ministry, UTT gives bibles to prisoners. One of our Missionary pastors holds weekly services at the Philippine Nation Prison. 4. UTT has conferences in the Philippines to train Pastors and church Workers. 5. UTT has established Bryce Foundation, the children who regularly attend Sunday school, UTT gives poor children school supplies and scholarships for school. I will Return to the Philippines on November 3, 2008, I will be there till March 3, 2009.
The Projects UTT have Planned for this mission trip are: 1. I will Stay with Pastor Paul in Olongapo for about 2-3 weeks, you see there is a garbage dump near Olongapo. There are many people who live and work in the garbage dump, also many children that goes to the dump looking for FOOD. My plan is two fold: first start a childrens outreach, Sunday school and feeding program. second plant a church as close to the garbage dump as possible Thousands of people live and work there. No religions or cults will even go there because the people are so poor (they can't get money out of them). It is a great opportunity to preach the Gospel and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. 2. My second project on this mission trip is to find an ex-muslim who is now a christian pastor, and have the resources of UTT come along side of him help support his ministry and his family. 3. Investigative Mission to Antique. There were 5 pastors that came to hear Roger speak at the January 2008 conference and they asked for help. This mission is complicated because the island is controlled by communist and muslims, I have to hire security for me to go. I may not be able to go myself. Please pray for this and consider donating to this project. 4.Roger will be returning to the Philippines in January 2009 along with Jacob Prasch, to speak at two conferences one in Manila and one in Alongapo. Roger and Jacob will be speaking to Pastors and church workers. Please Pray for these projects in the Philippines and please consider supporting these projects. 100 percent of your money will go to the Philippines.
