God's Word For Today

Psalms 111: 10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Comment:

It is a fact of life that a reverence and trust of God�s Word is the key to wisdom and understanding. This means there is an obedience factor as we follow Jesus. Trusting God means to believe and accept what is recorded in His Word. When we choose to be obedient to what God has revealed to us in his Word about the past, the present and the future, we will have insight and understanding that will guide us through life.

Application:

Many Christians profess they follow Christ but they instead follow their own desires and ambitions or some false teacher or teachers who promise them peace, prosperity and wealth. While it is not possible to be perfect as we walk down the road of life, we can follow the leading of the Lord by studying His Word and following Him alone.
