His Burden Is Light |

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 Come - you who are pressured by the world's standards and demands, which lead to stress and anxiety, and cause you to grow weary and your heart to grow bitter. Are you carrying a heavy burden you have put on yourself; or, have others placed unreasonable burdens upon you? We really need to "know" God, as revealed through Jesus, to have peace. Jesus is gentle… humble and sweet. When we take our eyes off Jesus we become anxious and frustrated and we lose the rest we have in Him. Jesus said "My burden is light". His joy is to please the Father. How awesome. Consider this… it is easier to please the Father than to please man. Turn your eyes upon Jesus - let go of anxious thoughts and cares and in Him you will find rest, peace and abundant joy - His yoke is easy, His burden is light.
