In The Shadow Of His Wings |

On my bed I remember You; I think of You through the watches of the night. Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. I stay close to You; Your right hand upholds me." Psalm 63: 6-8 God cares immeasurably for each one of us. Our All Knowing, All Powerful God has a plan for our lives. He wants us to call upon Him in good times as well as trying times. God desires that we fellowship with Him. God protects His children, who find refuge under the shadow of His wings. During a time of fierce pursuit by Saul, David fled to the wilderness of Judah. God gave David Psalm 63 in the midst of this desperate situation, and David cried out to the Lord: "O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You, my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1 David goes on to praise the Lord: "I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your Name I will lift up my hands." Psalm 63:4 Whether you find yourself in a desert place or on rich fertile soil would you, like David, take a moment to sing praise to Him as you are resting under the shadow of the infinitely vast protective wings of the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient Almighty God?
