Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! To update you of the things God is doing in our midst, we would like to report on the following: First, we are greatly thankful for God’s provision. At last! We were able to purchase a 277 square meter lot by the highway and to this date, we are awaiting the release of the lot title in our name. Thank you for your prayers regarding this matter. The church is now excited as we raise funds for the building. Second, we are happy to inform you that a door of opportunity opened to us – another Saturday Bible Class (Good News Club) was established on August 4,2018 at the residence of Mrs. Celia Rimando. An average of 22 children attend our new Bible Class for children, of which four children and four young people are attending Sunday School. They are now part of the Bryce Feeding Program. Several mothers in the vicinity are also attending the classes from time to time. Bro. Mark Neil Gache shares the Word of God to them. Praise the Lord for this open door. Pray with us that more children, youth and parents will be encouraged to come and listen to God’s Word and that they will be channelled to our church for nurturing. Third, the Bible Class and Feeding Program at the Palaruan compound continues. Some of the children are attending the Sunday School and are coming on their own now. We used to fetch them but they are now willing to come on their own. Praise God for such positive response. This December, we are hoping to conduct a Christmas Thanksgiving Service to encourage kids and their families from both areas to come to church and hear God’s Word. Though preaching God’s Word is meeting quite a resistance in this part of the globe, and that more and more people seem to be directing their focus on their gadgets and on technology, still, I thank my God that our young people are earnest in using their youth toward the preaching of God’s Word. In this endeavour, we are grateful for your partnership and prayers. Rest assured that the brethren are also constantly praying for you, your family and your ministry. May God bless you.
