The situation that has developed in North Korea with the threat of nuclear warfare has now gone beyond crisis proportions. This is only one more sign that we are living at a period of time indicating the return of Jesus Christ.

THE US staged its own terrifying show of strength today by dropping huge bombs near the North Korean border  - days after Kim Jong-un's latest missile outrage.

Four US F-35B fighter jets joined two nuclear-ready US B-1B bombers and four South Korean F-15 fighter jets in the joint military operation over the troubled Korean Peninsula. The rogue state described the drills - which saw target bombing close to its border - as the "rash act" of a desperate nation.

The fact that the present interest in witchcraft and pagan religious beliefs is on the increase should be no surprise to those who understand what the Bible teaches about a period of time known as the "last days." This will only intensify as time passes effecting all aspects of society including "Christianity."
 

Wiccan witchcraft is now one of the fastest growing religions in the Hudson Valley, and News 12's Tara Rosenblum set out to find why.

Rosenblum's investigation revealed that the modern-day witches can be found in all walks of life from nurses to lawyers to churchgoers. Some believers feel that they would be less respected in the community if they revealed they were witches and have kept quiet because of that. But for the first time, a local group allowed a news crew into their holy space because they say they have an obligation to let people know they are here.  News 12 cameras were rolling for a recent healing ritual.

World powers constantly debate a road path to peace and a solution to the possibility of a nuclear holocaust. Each day we see that the seriousness of the situation only intensifies. Never in history have we experienced such a global threat of a war that would end all wars.
 

Attempts to pressure North Korea into stopping its nuclear missile program through sanctions are "misguided and futile," Russian President Vladimir Putin warned, adding that threats and provocations would only add more fuel to the fire. "The situation on the Korean Peninsula, where tensions have grown recently, is balancing on the brink of a large-scale conflict. Russia believes that the policy of putting pressure on Pyongyang to stop its nuclear missile program is misguided and futile," Putin, who is due to attend a summit of the BRICS nations in China next week, wrote ahead of his trip.

While the Bible forbids Jesus statues, a Catholic school in San Francisco is removing them for sake of unity. The question is unity with who? According to Pope Francis, all religions worship the same God.
 

Parents of students at a Catholic school in the San Francisco Bay area are protesting the board's decision to remove and relocate more than 160 statues of Jesus, Mary and historic church figures from the campus in an effort to make the school more "inclusive."

While the Catholic and Orthodox churches are calling for an increased emphasis on the sacredness of the environment, not a lot is mentioned about the reality of the Creator. This is in accordance with what Paul stated in the book of Romans, chapter one.
 

For the first time, Pope Francis and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew have released a joint message on the occasion of the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, established by the Pontiff in 2015 on September 1st. The Pope had mentioned it during the Angelus of August 27th. In the Message, published in full below, the two leaders emphasize that the degraded environment is the result of a degradation of human ecology, where man no longer sees himself as guardian of creation and "collaborator of God ", but as an "over lord ". The prayer for a change of mindset is accompanied by a pressing demand for all those who have economic, social, political, cultural responsibilities to work in harmony "for the healing of our wounded creation," of which "those who live In poverty in every corner of the globe" are the greatest victims. The need for "shared and accountable" responsibility, giving priority to "solidarity and service" is underlined.
