August 30 - Pope Offers Prayers for Waldensian and Methodist Churches
Article: Ecumenical Movement Protestants Uniting With Roman Catholics
Comment from UTT:
Pope Francis continues to proclaim ecumenical unity in an effort to draw
the "separated brethren" back into the Roman Catholic fold. This is the
Jesuit objective which he has vowed to fulfill.
Pope
Francis on August 29, 2018,
invited
the faithful of the Waldensian and Methodist
Churches to join Catholics in proclaiming Jesus,
especially to the poor and the marginalized,
according to Vatican News. In a message sent to the
participants in the annual synod of the Union of
Methodist and Waldensian Churches that is taking
place in Torre Pellice, near Turin, northern Italy,
the Pope expressed his and the
Catholic Church's fraternal closeness.

August 30 - Those Who Left Church Turning to New Age, Pagan Rituals
Article: New Age
Comment from UTT:
The New Age philosophy has invaded the western world
and has now infiltrated the church. This is what is
to be expected as part of the last days apostasy
foretold by the Bible.
Amanda, a 28-year-old Los Angeles resident, used to
go to church every Sunday. She still prays nightly
and believes in Jesus,
but now she has her own rituals.
"I'll chant, or I'll go to Kundalini
(yoga) and meditate with a group,"
said Amanda, who did not want her last name used
because she's afraid religious groups will target
her.
She's also into crystals.
She keeps a bunch on her nightstand and stows a
small bag of them in her purse or backpack during
the day.
"The energy they hold is this ancient
energy,"
she said.
"It helps your own energy when you
work with them, when you're near them."
Amanda wasn't one of the respondents in a new Pew
Research poll. But she fits right in. The poll shows
that beyond a small band of reliably predictable
"Sunday Stalwarts," as the survey calls them,
American religiosity is pretty casual, with less
than a quarter of Americans attending worship
services weekly but nearly all religious groups
adhering to some New Age beliefs.
The poll, which grouped 4,729 Americans into
seven types, found that though few Americans reject
God altogether,
most Americans mix traditional faith
with beliefs in psychics, reincarnation and
spiritual energy that they say can be found in
physical objects such as mountains, trees and
crystals.

September 5 - Temple Institute Announces Birth of Red Heifer
Article: Israel And The Last Days
Comment from UTT:
The birth of a red heifer in Israel is a major step
towards fulfilling Bible prophecy and the building of the Third
Temple. Bible prophecy students have been looking for this event for
years as a major sign of the last days.
Last Tuesday, the Temple
Institute's Red Heifer program was blessed with
results;
an entirely red female calf was born, paving the
way for re-establishing the Temple service and
marking the final stage of redemption.
Almost three years ago the Temple
Institute inaugurated its Raise a Red Heifer in
Israel program. Due to laws restricting the
importation of live cattle into Israel, the
Temple Institute
imported frozen embryos of
red angus,
implanting them in Israeli domestic cows. The
pregnant cows were raised on cattle ranches in
different locations throughout the country. The
cows are giving birth this summer with several
calves already having been born.
One week after it's birth, the newborn red
heifer was certified by a board of rabbis as
fulfilling all the Biblical requirements. The
rabbis emphasized that the heifer could, at any
time, acquire a blemish rendering it unsuitable.
They will be inspecting the calf periodically to
verify its condition.
