March 13 - Scientists Now Resort To Calling Christians Crazy - 'New Study' Attempts to establish a link between religious fundamentalism and brain damage
Article: Miscellaneous
Comment from UTT:
Christians who believe the Bible are about to be attacked
by the claim they suffer from brain damage and are mentally ill. The
Bible teaches that the persecution of believers will happen in the last
days (2 Timothy 3:12). Certainly this article gives us a preview of how
and why this will happen.
Scientists from
Northwestern University published a study in the journal
Neuropsychologia
attempting to establish a link between
religious fundamentalism and brain impairment.
The findings suggest that religious
fundamentalists have less cognitive flexibility, in addition,
the study states that damage to particular areas of the
prefrontal cortex indirectly promotes religious fundamentalism.
In other words, science is now attempting to say that those who
believe the Bible have brain damage.

March 12 - Saying You're Going to Hell if You Don't Believe in Jesus Is 'Insanity,' Megachurch Pastor Michael A. Walrond Jr. Says
Article: Unbiblical Christianity
Comment from UTT:
The following article explains that one megachurch so-called Christian
pastor believes that it is absurd to claim that Jesus is the only way to
heaven. This defies the very words of Jesus who said: I am the way, the
truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by Me (John 14:6).
Michael A. Walrond Jr., one of New York City's
most influential pastors who leads the more than
10,000-member First Corinthian Baptist Church in
Harlem, is coming under fire online
for
telling his congregants that the belief that
Jesus is the only way to Heaven is "insanity."
Prior to preaching one of
his sermons at First Corinthian just over two
weeks ago, Walrond asked the congregation to
recite their purpose statement, which he said "shape[s]
our identity as a congregation." "We are an ever
evolving community of visionaries, dreamers, and
doers who have been called by God to live the
lives we were created to live; commanded by God
to love beyond the limits of our prejudices and
commissioned by God to serve," the statement
read.

March 24 - Christians Boycott 'Blasphemous' Sweet Jesus Ice Cream Chain
Article: Signs Of The Last Times
Comment from UTT:
Mocking Christianity is becoming increasingly more popular in the world
today. Of course this is what is to be expected as we see the return of
Jesus Christ on the horizon.
Some
Christians are calling for the boycott of a Canadian ice cream chain
called "Sweet Jesus," saying it mocks the Christian faith in its ads and
uses upside down crosses on the labels of the ice cream cups. The chain
is expanding to the U.S.

March 27 - Chip-and-skin: Payments' Matrix moment
Article: Technology For A Global Monetary System
Comment from UTT:
Proponents of Bible prophecy have been predicting implantable chips in
the tissues of humans for the purpose of making financial transactions
for years. This article provides an update regarding the possibility of
this happening very soon.
Microchip implants could
be considered the ultimate form of mobile payment -
skipping the smartphone altogether in favor of
giving people bionic abilities. And a small segment
of the population is already lining up to try it
out.

Article: One World Religion
Comment from UTT:
Roman Catholic and Muslim leaders in Pakistan pray together and have
interreligious dialogue for the cause of peace. The Bible predicts a coming

March 29 - 'Mary Is the One Who Brought Us Close to Jesus Forever,' Says Pope at Chrism Mass
Article: Roman Catholic Church And The Last Days
Comment from UTT:
According to this article and proclamations made by the Pope, Christians
who do not focus on "Mary" the mother of Jesus, have missed the true
focus of Christianity. The Bible contradicts this idea and makes Jesus
the focus.
Mary,
with her 'yes' to welcoming her Son into the world,
is the one who brought us close to Jesus forever, Pope
Francis underscored during the Chrism Mass in St.
Peter's Basilica this Holy Thursday morning.
Encouraging his brother priests to join
him in turning to Mary, "Mother of priests," he
noted, they can call upon her as "Our Lady of
Closeness."
"As a
true mother, she walks at our side, she shares our
struggles and she constantly surrounds us with God's
love, in such a way that no one feels left out,"
the Pope said.
"Our Mother is not only close when she sets
out "with haste" to serve, which is one means of
closeness, but also by her way of expressing
herself."

March 28 - Transhumanism: advances in technology could already put evolution into hyperdrive - but should they?
Article: Transhumanism
Comment
from UTT:
Humanism promotes the idea that humans are evolving in order to become more
advanced beings through a natural process that includes chance and time.
Transhumanism claims that modern technology will allow human beings to
direct their own evolution and accelerate the evolutionary process on the
road towards godhood.
Biological evolution takes place
over generations. But imagine if it could be expedited beyond the incremental
change envisaged by Darwin to a matter of individual experience. Such things are
dreamt of by so-called "transhumanists". Transhumanism has come to connote
different things to different people, from a belief system to a cultural
movement, a field of study to a technological fantasy. You can't get a degree in
transhumanism, but you can subscribe to it, invest in it, research its actors,
and act on its tenets.
