That day is not far where everybody in this country of 1.252 billion people bid goodbye to currency and switch to cashless transactions, opines experts.

Talking at a panel discussion on 'Frictionless Payments' in the city, experts Ashvin Vellody -Partner, Management Consuting, KPMG , Ashtoosh Chand - Partner and Leader ,Digital PwC, Dr GP Ray - DGM ,State bank of India , unanimously agreed that the country is on her way to becoming a cashless society [a society in which purchases of goods or services are made by credit card or electronic funds transferral in place of cash or checks].
