Dear Roger,
Some of our relative’s houses are also in a
dangerous situation in Falam Chin State because of
landslides. They dare not stay at home now. Even
tonight one of my sisters beg our prayer support for
they are homeless. And in our native Hualngo and
Zahau areas, their corn, rice fields and all that
they planted in the farm has been spoiled. They have
no hope this year for a crop.
.
Dear Roger, The heavy rain has caused a terrible flood and there are victims in many places of our country. You have seen this on the breaking news at sites posted with pictures. My friend Mr. Mang Kam Lo lost his wife in the river of Yuchaung at the place where they serve in the mission field between Rakhine and Southern Chin state. When they went out across the river by boat the heavy rain caused a wave that hit their boat. The boat sunk and turned upside down and the wife could no longer swim and was drowned. Mang Kam Lo) and his two kids survived and are safe. The wife's body has not been found. This natural disaster is very grievous. Last night I called him for encouraging with the Word and asked his plan he said he would continue to work there in the place. Therefore, he is in a desperate need of help in any way you can. If God provides, I would like to go to the place to see him and help.
Help is coming for the many other victims by
organizations, churches and even by some companies.
But as the flood is so widespread many victims have
not been reached. We are praying that God would
stretch out His hands to those we can personally
reach. Even some of our relatives suffer the loss of
rice fields, properties and houses damaged. And God bless.
Yours in Him,
